He Was Flying A Plane For The First Time Ever When He Spotted A Furry Stowaway

When Romain Jantot was gearing up for his maiden voyage on a light aircraft in Kourou, French Guiana, the last thing he expected to encounter was a stowaway on board -- especially one of the feline variety.
Shortly after takeoff, as Jantot was gaining altitude, a bewildered cat poked her head into the cockpit and caught the pilot's attention. Luckily for us, the hair-raising moment was captured on video.

Fortunately, this story has a happy ending. As soon as Jantot saw what was happening, he turned the plane around and made an emergency landing. The cat is doing quite well back here on Earth, and has even become the flying club's new mascot. I bet Jantot will check for rogue felines next time he takes his plane for a spin.
